The Flamingos was a “Doo Wop” group formed in the first 1950s which had early success on Chess Information, hitting the R&B charts with “A Kiss FROM YOUR OWN Lip area”, “I’M GOING TO BE House”, “The Vow” and “Would I End up being Crying”. They remaining Chess and authorized with End Information in 1958. Nearly instantly the group experienced their 1st pop chart strike with “Enthusiasts Never State Goodbye”, regarded as a “Doo Wop” traditional today. It had been compiled by Terry Johnson, who distributed lead chores around the track with Paul Wilson. In 1959 the group could have its biggest strike using what would become their personal track, “I JUST HAVE Eyes FOR YOU PERSONALLY” (compiled by Harry Warren and Al Dubin for Dames (1934)).
