Mini Biography

Pioneering pop/folk group whose impact is still becoming thought some 45 years after their 1st big strike, “Tom Dooley”, in 1958. Created at Stanford University or college two years previously, the initial Kingston Trio contains the past due Dave Safeguard, Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds, with John Stewart overtaking after Guard remaining the group to go after other passions in 1961. Documenting mainly for Capitol Information (1958-64) and American Decca (1964-67), their many strikes throughout that period, all well-remembered, also included “The Tijuana Prison”, M.T.A.”, “Where Possess All the Plants Eliminated?” and “Greenback Buck”. Initially splitting up in 1967, they re-formed in 1971 and also have been touring, and documenting occasionally, since, with Shane the just staying member from the initial group. Right now, they still placed on a great display and also have many appreciative followers of all age groups.
