Impressed using their skill, Gordy nevertheless recommended them to come back once again for another audition but this time around with a structure of their personal. Georgia Dobbins understood an area musician called William Garrett, who acquired an unfinished blues melody he known as “Make sure you Mr. Postman”, and he allowed Dobbins to consider it house and reshape it to a far more “doo-wop” kind of song that might be even more palatable towards the teenagers of your day.
