Tim Firth began composing when he was eighteen with an Arvon Basis program in Yorkshire, work by Willy Russell and Danny Hiller. After their studies at Cambridge for 3 years, his 1st professional commissions had been “Heartlands” for Chichester, aimed by Sam Mendes, and “A GUY of Characters” for the Stephen Joseph Theater, Scarborough.
