Tina Russell was created Linda Marie Mintzer on Sept. 23, 1948, in Williamsport, Pa, to John H. and Margaret Ditzler Mintzer. She was raised in Williamsport and graduated from senior high school there in 1966. Her older photo shows an adult brunette having a “Laura Petrie” hair, looking similar to another nurse when compared to a porn celebrity. She became one of the better known adult film stars from the “Golden Age group” of porn, adored for her new looks and obvious enthusiasm on her behalf on-screen liaisons. The Williamsport town web directories of 1968- 1970 display Russell living in the home and outlined as students, but she relocated to NEW YORK to attend NY University soon thereafter. Along with her spouse Jason Russell (given birth to John Sanderson) – many years her elder – she started modeling in sexually focused photos and performed in so-called “live sex displays” (the “sex” at the time was generally pantomimed). After showing up in 16mm “stag” loops, Russell started to consider small functions in feature movies during early 1970s.
