Truus truck Aalten was a Dutch female who won a mag competition in 1926 and present herself acting within a film in Berlin. Her bosses shortly understood that she was a gifted comedienne, and she continued to create many silent films. She became extremely popular all over European countries and moved effectively into sound movies. When the Nazis found power they ended her working. Then they tried to make use of her in propaganda films, but she refused – and she ultimately had to stop her career. She tried to produce a comeback in films after WW2, but without success. She became a businesswoman in the 1950s and wedded in 1964. Her last years had been marred by mental disease, and she passed away in the Dutch city of Warmond in 1999.
