Actor and theatre manager, child of famous Norwegian article writer, Johan Falkberget. Produced his stage debut at Edvard Drabløs’ touring organization around 1920, later on engaged in the theatre in Stavanger, and from 1924 in Trondheim. In 1929 he founded his own traveling theatre known as Falkbergets Teater, where he was an acting professional and supervisor until his unexpected death on christmas in Rome in Dec 1957. His repertory as supervisor was mainly comedies, criminal offense dramas and operettas, his very best success was compiled by his dad, a comedy known as: “Bør Børson”. (dramatized by Toralf Fine sandø, an excellent colleague and friend) Magnus Falkberget was quite definitely cherished by his target audience from coast to coast,and by his fellow stars and staff!
