Vasili Sofronov was a Russian professional from the Bolshoi Theatre Teatre in Petrograd – Leningrad – St. Petersburg. He was created Vasili Yakovlevich Sofronov on January 30, 1884, in Russia. In 1910 he produced his stage performing debut in St. Petersburg. In 1918 he was among the founding associates from the Bolshoi Play Theater (BDT) in Petrograd (today St. Petersburg), as well as Maxim Gorky, Aleksandr Blok, Yuri Yuryev, and Anatoli Lunacharsky.
