Lee Remick was created in Quincy, Massachusetts, to Gertrude Margaret (Waldo), an celebrity, and Francis Edwin Remick, a division shop owner. She got Irish and British ancestry. Remick was informed at Barnard University, researched dance and done stage and Television, prior to making her film debut as an attractive Southern majorette in Elia Kazan’s A Encounter in the Group (1957).
