Vito J. Giambalvo was created in St. Louis, Missouri to parents of Sicilian descent. Finding a little movie camcorder for his 7th birthday, Vito produced his first films when he was students at St. Liborius Catholic college. Out of senior high school he produced a living performing and playing drums along with his band Adrastus. His 1st job in tv, was at KMOX Television, an area CBS possessed and operated train station where he was the stage supervisor. He opened up 2 pizza parlors in St. Louis, but offered them when he was drafted in to the Military. After he offered his amount of time in the Military and Air Push, he shifted to LA to pursue his enthusiasm, to immediate and produce movies. He soon discovered a job like a camcorder operator and caused most of Norman Lear’s productions. While a camcorder operator, he had written, created and shot unique pilots and brief films along with his close friends. Touring the U.S. like a stand-up comedian in the 80s, he discovered he didn’t like living on the highway, but the encounter gave him plenty of important celluloid materials, comedic close friends and writing companions he collaborates with even today. “I WANT TO Count the Methods” which he had written the storyplot for, executive created and directed, earned the Viewers Award for Greatest Feature in the NY Film & Video Festival in 2006. His following project may be the upcoming organized criminal offense thriller “The 5th Mafia”.
