Mini Biography

Zulema Esther Gonzalez Borbon was created in Buenos Aires on Oct 17, 1920. She started working being a model when she is at her teenagers and, at exactly the same time, she became a supplementary in cheap films. She was presented with more important assignments in a humble studio known as EFA-Establecimientos Filmadores Argentinos, but, suddenly and because of her function in Stella (1943), she reached stardom. A lovely, high blonde, her skill was not a lot of but people didn’t want to find her performing. They paid their seat tickets to find out that picture. She started a romantic relationship with movie director Luis César Amadori in 1941 and became among the superstars of Argentina Sono Film. Following the large achievement of God Bless You (1948) (aka God Praise You), superstar and movie director got wedded and both became co-owners of Sono Film. Mr. and Mrs. Amadori appreciated a happy period under the initial two Peron government authorities. They made films in Mexico in the 1950s, but following the 1955 coup, they still left Argentina and flew to Spain. Both continued functioning there. Moreno excelled within a film known as La noche con un alba (1958) (aka THE NIGHT TIME as well as the Dawn) and demonstrated she had discovered her craft. Regrettably, she made a decision to quit movie theater when she was 40 years older. In 1965, she was offered a component within an Italian-Argentine co-production starring Vittorio Gassman, but she didn’t bother to answer. In the 1970s, the few came back to Argentina — both had been owners from the Maipo theatre. In 1977, Mr. Amadori passed away, and she became type of a recluse. Movie director ‘Maria Luisa Bemberg’ and maker Lita Stantic provided her a job in Camila (1984), but she flipped it down. She passed away in Buenos Aires in 1999 and continues to be kept in mind as the sign of a time.
