He is child and grandson of journalists and theatre critics. He analyzed regulation in Barcelona completing his profession in 1951. He debuted in movie theater and theatre in 1947, so when a theater movie director in 1956. In 1965 he became the movie director from the Teatro Español de Madrid, and in 1972 aimed his 1st film.
