His Dad, Steven ( Szlama) Waserman offered using the French underground, and escaped from two jail camps; Auschwitz and Janinagrub, where he proved helpful being a coal miner. His mom, Lucienne Waks, discovered refuge within a Paris cathedral through the Nazi invasion. While participating in senior high school, Waserman discovered his very own refuge in the theater.
