Alejandro Jodorowsky was created in Iquique, Chile on Feb 7, 1929. In 1942 he shifted to Santiago where he went to college or university, was a circus clown and a puppeteer. In 1955 he visited Paris and researched mime with Marcel Marceau. He caused Maurice Chevalier there and produced a brief film, La cravate (1957). He also befriended the surrealists Roland Topor and Fernando Arrabal, and in 1962 these three developed the “Anxiety Motion” in homage towards the mythical god Skillet. Within this group Jodorowsky had written many books and theatrical parts. In the afterwards 1960s he aimed avant-garde movie theater in Paris and Mexico Town, developed the comic remove “Fabulas Panicas”, and produced his initial “genuine” film, the surrealist like tale Fando and Lis (1968), predicated on a play by Arrabal. In 1971, Un topo (1970) premiered and became a cult traditional, as do The Holy Hill (1973). In 1975 he came back to France to begin with focus on a film that was by no means produced: a colossal version of Frank Herbert’s “Dune”, that was to celebrity Orson Welles, Salvador Dalí as well as others, was to become scored by Red Floyd, and which brought collectively the visionary skills of H.R.
