Amy Ray is fifty percent from the internationally popular, Grammy-Award-winning folk/rock and roll duo Indigo Ladies. She started playing your guitar young and in senior high school started playing like a duo with Emily Saliers; the duo used the name “Indigo Ladies” in 1985. After many years of university and playing the neighborhood moments in Atlanta, GA, and close by Athens, the duo was agreed upon to Epic Information in 1988, and their initial major-label record “Indigo Women” premiered in 1989. Their main albums to time are “Unusual Fireplace” (1987, re-released in 1989), “Indigo Women” (1989), “Nomads*Indians*Saints” (1990), “Rites of Passing” (1992), “Swamp Ophelia” (1994), “1200 Curfews” (1995) and “Shaming of sunlight” (1997). Guys privately (1995) is certainly their only film appearance to time (although they do come in the initial Ellen (1994) bout of 1998).
