Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg was created on Sept 29, 1931 in Malmo, Sweden. Developing up with seven siblings had not been an experience, but Anita’s experience started when she was elected Miss Sweden in 1950. She didn’t earn the Miss Universe competition but she got a modeling agreement in america. She quickly got a film agreement with Howard Hughes’s RKO that didn’t business lead anywhere (but Anita herself provides stated that Hughes wished to marry her). Rather, she started producing movies with General, small assignments that generally only needed her to appear gorgeous. After five years in Hollywood, she discovered herself in Rome, where Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita (1960) intended her discovery. She remained in Italy and produced around 20 films during the following a decade, some roles unforgettable, some to become neglected. Her two relationships gave her significant amounts of attention through the press. Through the 1970s, the jobs became less regular, but she produced a marvellous return with Fellini’s Intervista (1987). Anita Ekberg retired from performing in 2002 after 50 years in the film industry. In Dec 2011, she was destitute pursuing three months inside a hospital having a damaged thigh in Rimini, where her house was robbed of jewelry and home furniture, and her villa was terribly damaged inside a open fire.
