Ann Dvorak was the little girl of silent film star Anna Lehr and silents movie director Edwin McKim. She inserted movies in the beginning of sound, being a dance trainer for the luxurious MGM musicals. She found worldwide prominence in Scarface (1932) with Paul Muni, but frequently complained about having less quality of her movies, which resulted in quarrels with her bosses at Warners. She wedded British professional Leslie Fenton in 1932, and found Britain to produce a few movies. She contributed towards the United kingdom war effort generating an ambulance. She retired in the display screen in 1951, and passed away in 1979.
