In 2001, only a week after 9/11, Antonia began an internship at CBS Information 48 Hours, under producer Susan Zirinsky. It had been there that she discovered an article in regards to a child’s loss of life from dehydration at a teenager training in Arizona, that was highlighted on this program. After shifting to Charleston, SC, Antonia began directing theatre. Two acclaimed productions had been the musical My Good Female and Eugene O’Neill’s The Longer Day’s Trip Into Night. Concurrently writing in a multitude of formats including essays, poems, and a novel, she ultimately focused her talents solely on screenplays. Antonia teamed with composing partner, Anne Heffron, to pencil several separate feature scripts like the Rabbit Will Pass away and Tell Me personally I’m Pretty, and a commissioned humor screenplay, Welcome to Applebarn’s. She composed and aimed, Phantom Halo, which is her film directorial debut.
