Created and raised in Montgomery Region, Maryland, B.J. Pryor went to the faculty of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He graduated in 1978 having a B.A. ever sold. Since 1980 he spent some time working for the Colonial Williamsburg Base and has made an appearance exclusively within their productions with one exemption. In 1999, he portrayed the officiating clergyman on the bicentennial entertainment of George Washington’s funeral at Support Vernon. The function was broadcast go on C-SPAN, and re-broadcast sometimes thereafter.
