Charmian Carr was created Charmian Farnon on Dec 27, 1942. She got her name because, supposedly, her dad loved the name after reading William Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra”. Charmian was the name of 1 of Cleopatra’s maids. She was the next of three daughters. Her mom, Rita Oehmen, have been a vaudeville celebrity with her sibling Eddy, and her dad, Brian Farnon, was a musician. She remembers her years as a child as excellent, because her old sister Shannon Farnon was constantly there to consider her and their youthful sister, Darleen Carr. She transferred from Chicago to California when she was 13 and her dad left her mom a couple of years after that. Girls hardly noticed their father from then on. She wished to travel also to visit European countries, little understanding that a movie she’d make will be partially shot in European countries. She worked like a doctor’s associate for awhile until a pal of her mother’s asked her to audition for the component of “Liesl Von Trapp” in the film, The Sound of Music (1965). Her imaginary family became section of her genuine family members and she considers Nicholas Hammond (who performed her sibling “Freidrich Von Trapp”) her genuine sibling. After she produced the film, she spent a lot of the following several years advertising the movie all over the world. Throughout a lull in the touring, she fulfilled and wedded Jay Brent and became the mother of two girls. She continuing acting for some time, but determined that she wished to stay house and increase her kids. After her kids were expanded, she started a decorating organization and fulfilled Michael Jackson, who became among her clients. Additional clients included users of her “Audio of Music” family members, including Heather Menzies-Urich and her spouse Robert Urich and Ernest Lehman. She got divorced from Jay in 1991. In the past due 1990s, she published a publication about her existence and her encounters being “Liesl” known as “Forever Liesl”.
