Mini Biography
Born in Pa and raised in Ohio, Chris Columbus was initially inspired to create movies after viewing “The Godfather” in age group 15. After enrolling at NYU film college, he marketed his initial screenplay (under no circumstances created) while a sophomore there. After graduation Columbus attempted to market his 4th script, “Gremlins”, without achievement, until Steven Spielberg optioned it; Columbus relocated to LA for a 12 months during rewrites around the task in Spielberg’s bungalow at Common. After composing two even more scripts for Spielberg, “The Goonies” and “Small Sherlock Holmes”, Columbus’ personal directing career premiered a couple of years later on with “Activities in Babysitting”. He’s most widely known to viewers as the movie director from the runaway strike “House Alone”, created and made by John Hughes its sequel “House Alone 2”, & most lately “Mrs. Doubtfire”.
