Divine’s former companion, with dyed metallic hair, met the near future Waters celebrity in beauty college in Baltimore, Maryland. Divine later on claimed that he previously “never even noticed the term ‘pull’ before David,” which Lochary do his make-up and wigs at celebrations (ahead of Vehicle Smith). Divine launched Lochary to Waters within the middle-1960s, and he quickly became among Waters’ “Dreamlanders,” 1st showing up in his 8mm underground film Roman Candles (1966). Lochary generally played exotically-dressed, advanced perverts who threatened, and dropped to, Divine. Lochary relocated to NY after the launch of Red Flamingos (1972) to accomplish theater, but came back to Baltimore for Woman Trouble (1974), and he drifted from the Dreamlanders.
