David Reid is definitely a LA based film and tv composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He was created in NY, NY and was raised in New Rochelle, NY. David began composing music for film in Brown University or college and Rhode Isle School of Style where he scored many of his personal films, aswell while collaborating with additional student filmmakers. After college, David became a dynamic touring and saving musician with several bands, like the Glenn Branca Acoustic guitar Outfit, Don Caballero, and Joe Henry, with NEW YORK constantly calling as home. David’s acoustic guitar playing could be noticed on Elliot Goldenthal’s film ratings for “High temperature” and “In Dreams”. Building upon many of these encounters, David started his profession composing music for film and tv. David’s film composing credits include “Stoked: The Rise and Fall of Gator” (2002); “The Kidnapping of Elizabeth Wise” (2005); “Middletown” (2009); and “WHATEVER WAS PREVIOUSLY”(2010).
