Cass began his profession in the film industry as a supplementary – but shortly he was alternating between performing parts and stunt function. The stunt function ultimately prevailed and Cass continued to become among Hollywood’s best stunt co-ordinators and Second Device Directors. This resulted in his producing many films which, subsequently, resulted in first-unit directing. Dave has co-produced Miramax Movies’ Tx Rangers (2001); a trio of Burt Reynolds’ Television movies titled DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE (1998), for the TNT network – composing one show, and directing another, DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE: The Premonition (1999). He in addition has co-written other movies including Enter the Devil (1972) and Hard Floor (2003). Dave was the movie director from the Hallmark Channel’s mini-series, Johnson Region Battle (2002), another undertake the infamous Wyoming cattle wars, that one an version by Larry McMurtry.
