Mini Biography

A local New Yorker, he was created to Scottish/Irish parents. David Patrick Wilson grew up and schooled on Long Isle (Northport HS, Course of 1967). A scholar athlete, he forsook sports activities in his mature year to superstar in his school’s creation of “South Pacific,” contrary Broadway star, Patti Lupone. David continued to wait Columbia School in Manhattan, briefly (two years). Bitten with the performing bug, he still left the Ivy in the springtime of ’69 to wait A NEARBY Playhouse where he examined with the renowned, Sanford Meisner and his committed disciple, William Esper. After graduating, he released his career over the levels of NY (Public Movie theater) and Chicago (The Ivanhoe), in film (“Heading House,” “The Seven-Ups”) and soaps (“Magic formula Surprise”) before shifting to LA in ’74. He afterwards expanded his stage, film and Television career to add work in every three disciplines in Stockholm, Sweden and Tel Aviv, Israel. He’s the proud dad of five (3 ladies; 2 males) and offers 5 grandchildren. Still deeply in love with performing and performing (he qualified under ‘American Idol’ trainer, Seth Riggs), he offers added screen composing, directing and generating to his many professional successes.
