Davy Jones still left home to become jockey. While he was an apprentice, he was urged to get into performing and got a job in a creation of “Peter Skillet”. Following that, he performed on Coronation Road (1960) as well as the Pickwick Documents (1952) before getting the part of “The Artful Dodger” in “Oliver!”. This work required him to America’s Broadway, where he was found out by Ward Sylvester and taken to Los Angeles. Following that, he was presented with a job in The Monkees (1966). With this sitcom, he produced 58 television shows, 9 albums, a tv unique, and a film before phoning it quits in the first 1970s. In the middle-1970s, Davy rejoined fellow Monkee Micky Dolenz and songwriters Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart to create an recording and perform some touring.
