Mini Biography

Denise was raised loving the silver screen, and desired desperately to pursue a profession in acting. From the rigid, West-Indian upbringing, she was softly persuaded to equipment her research in a far more “regular” path. That didn’t end her from composing avant-garde humor sketches on her behalf teenage girl’s chapel group, much towards the dismay from the conservative team market leaders! After graduating from McGill University or college having a degree in Mindset, life intervened and Denise found herself employed in the dental field, and later on in the travel industry. Amid starting a family group, she followed through to her desire to do something, and could property some noteworthy functions in cable television films, and performed in a number of Montreal stage productions including “The Seagull”, “Search & Destroy”, “The Martian Chronicles” and “Reckless”. Lately, Denise continues to be privileged to participate Montreal’s Black Theater Workshop’s “Finding Series” where she participated in the stage readings of “State Gingerale” and “Harlem Duet”. Her part as the hooker using the heart of rock in the indie feature film feeling Expiration (2003) garnered her some heartwarming critique from Range, Ain’t It Great Information, and Beyond Hollywood. Although acting was her initial love, Denise cannot reserve her craving to be always a great storyteller. She was very pleased to be always a co-writer on many independent short movies aswell as several Montreal Fringe Celebration theater productions. By teaming up with fellow professional/article writer Victoria Minkoff, Denise provides excelled in getting even more of her innovative juices towards the forefront. Both friends co-founded FANTASY Films using the intention of fabricating unique storylines which have convincing characters that audiences can either main for or despise. Their trip has just started…their finest work is yet to come.
