Dickie Henderson OBE was created in London on 30th Oct 1922. He performed in Frank Lloyd’s Hollywood edition of Noel Coward’s play, “Cavalade”, at age 10. He was informed privately in Hollywood and London (at St.Joseph’s University, Beulah Hill). He toured in music halls and made an appearance in several movies with his popular dad Dick Henderson (1891-1958). He offered in the military through the Second Globe War, before showing up in revues, pantomimes and periodic movies after demobilisation. He started a successful tv profession in 1953, with ‘Encounter the Music’, that was accompanied by the ‘Arthur Askey Present’. He compered ‘Weekend Night on the London Palladium’, hosted 120 ‘Dickie Henderson Displays’, some ‘A Present for Dickie’, many spectaculars and a well-known relationship with Bob Monkhouse. He provides made an appearance in eight Royal Order Shows. He was an enthusiastic golfer and appreciated most sports activities. He was a respected ‘Drinking water Rat’ and was honored the OBE, in identification of his charitable function. He married double and acquired a kid Matthew and a little girl Linda. He passed away from cancers, on 22nd Sept 1985, aged 62.
