Actress and range artiste. From age 13 an achieved violinist, she also performed the leading elements of basic principle boy in lots of pantomimes, and went in to the music halls, taking part in regularly in the Tivoli, Oxford and Pavillion. Also the 1st woman person in the Variety Performers Federation, she travelled to Australia, America and around England appearing in lots of Variety Displays. When she was nearly 50 years of age, she teamed up with Wee Georgie Solid wood and continued travelling the globe performing pantomimes and humor sketches as his partner in jest. She often performed his stage mom and in addition became referred to as the “Mom of the Causes” when she travelled overseas entertaining the soldiers. A very providing and caring woman who never required anything in exchange, she worked virtually up until your day she passed away at age 89 years in 1956.
