Donald P. Bellisario was created in North Charleroi in Pa. His father went the tavern, where he was raised hearing the war tales of vets coming back from WWII. He previously a fifteen-year profession in marketing before shifting to Hollywood. He broke into tv as the storyplot editor for Dark Sheep Squadron (1976).
