Doris Kareva continues to be given birth to in Tallin, the administrative centre of Estonia, where she completed her senior high school education and in 1977 visited School of Tartu to review books of Germanic and Italic dialects, graduating in 1983. Since adolescence she actually is composing poetry and her poems have been released since 1974. Her initial poetry collection “Päevapildid” continues to be released in 1978., and helps to keep publishing regularly since that time gaining numerous honours for her function. She also functions for theaters and translates poetry, and music artists from different countries documented music using her lyrics in Estonian or translated to various other languages.
