A graduate from the School of Montana, Dorothy Marie Johnson still left her widowed mom in Whitefish, Montana and moved to NEW YORK, where she worked being a article writer and an editor of women’s magazines. In 1950, she came back to Whitefish and edited the neighborhood paper for 3 years; she after that joined up with the faculty from the School of Montana College of Journalism. She eventually released seventeen books and fifty-two brief stories, all mainly about the American Western world.
