Distinguished figure villain Douglass (R.) Dumbrille, whose distinct stern features, beady eye, tidy mustache, prominent hook nasal area and suave, cultivated existence graced ratings of talking movies, was created on Oct 13, 1889, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
