A former vice chief executive of A&R at Arista Information, Dixon pursued possibilities “moonlighting” being a writer, manufacturer and actress in independent movies in NY and LA. Lately, Dixon conceived and co-starred in Vivian (2002), a brief film written, created and aimed by Aimee Dixon, Drew’s old sister. “Vivian” that provides a light-hearted and imaginative personification of the most unexpected subject, a woman’s regular cycle, provides won honours and vital acclaim over the festival circuit. In 2002, Drew Dixon still left Arista (and NY temporarily) to wait the M.B.A. plan at Harvard Business College. She commented that “I am hoping another to NY in a couple of years with the assets to ‘greenlight’ several independent movies myself. Let me fund filmmakers whose tales aren’t becoming respresented.
