Martin was created on Feb 11, 1939 in NEW YORK. D’Urville first started acting within the middle 60s. He shortly became a primary recurring amount in the 70s blaxploitation movie theater routine. Martin acted in a number of movies with renowned blaxploitation icon Fred “The Hammer” Williamson; he was specifically unforgettable as Williamson’s hesitant partner Toby within the “Dark Charley” images and old youth chum Reverand Rufus in both terrific “Dark Caesar” and its own solid sequel “Hell Up in Harlem.” D’Urville popped up in two flicks for movie director William Girdler: he’s the villainous Pilot within the Pam Grier automobile “Sheba, Baby” along with a flamboyant pimp within the enjoyably tacky “The Zebra Killer.” Martin aimed the hilarious Rudy Ray Moore humor hoot “Dolemite” — he also has Willie Green within this film — as well as the cruddy clinker “Disco 9000.” Among it shows he do guest areas on are “Dr. Kildare,” “Daniel Boone,” “The Monkees,” “THE PERSON from U.N.C.L.E.,” “The Invaders,” “All in the Family members,” “Like, American Style,” and “Ironside.” Alas, D’Urville Martin acquired a difficult partying life style which directly result in his unlucky untimely loss of life from a coronary attack at age group 45 on, may 28, 1984.
