Ed Gass-Donnelly, with root base in the theatre, has frequently served as director, manufacturer, article writer, and editor. After many short movies and music movies, Gass-Donnelly’s feature debut, This Gorgeous City, premiered on the Toronto International Film Celebration in 2007 and continued to become nominated for four Canadian Academy Honours (Genie Honours). His second feature, Little Town Murder Tracks, premiered on the 2010 Toronto International Film Celebration and recently earned the FIPRESCI Award for Greatest Film on the Torino Film Celebration, and Best Celebrity (Martha Plimpton) on the Whistler Film Celebration. Small City Murder Tracks will be released in 2011. Ed can be producing and directing two new movies in 2011, Permafrost, a survivalist ‘eco-horror’, and Lavender, a supernatural thriller.
