As an adolescent, Eddy Ellwood was a boxer but found too little neighborhood opposition in the light-heavyweight department. He stepped up a department to heavyweight which required more time in the pounds room. This led to the 19-year-old Ellwood entering a junior bodybuilding contest which he won. Eddy continued to gain Mr. Britain, and was a five period Professional Mr Universe. In 2002, Eddy began competing in strongman, his initial main contest was the 2002 Britain’s Most powerful Man contest. Eddy was earning his qualifying temperature but experienced a sever bicep rip through the atlas rock event and was compelled to withdraw from your competition. Ellwood returned another season and finished 4th on the 2003 Britain’s Strongest Guy, which earned him an invitation towards the 2003 World’s Strongest Guy competition in Victoria Falls, Zambia. Eddy completed 4th again on the 2004 Britain’s Strongest Guy, and 7th in 2008. Eddy also won the England’s Strongest Guy title 3 consecutive moments from 2003-2005, aswell seeing that the IFSA edition of England’s Strongest Guy in 2005. Eddy now works his own protection firm and offers many gyms in his hometown of Hartlepool.
