Elizabeth Laidlaw was created in NEW YORK and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She started seriously pursuing performing as a profession as soon as high school, where she performed leading jobs both at college and in regional theatre companies, and also helped to discovered a traveling youngsters theater while still in senior high school. After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan School using a BFA in Functionality and Directing, she came back to Chicago and began busy career being a stage celebrity, getting a Joseph Jefferson Nomination with her initial Chicago functionality, in John Patrick Shanley’s “THE BEST Funk”, with Strawdog Theater Company, where she actually is now an associate emeritus. She gained a Joseph Jefferson Award on her behalf functionality in Robert Shenkan’s “The Kentucky Routine”.
