American actress who produced the feeling in her just film. The little girl of an British dad and a Cherokee mom, Threatt was raised in SC. At 19, she visited NY and began an effective modeling profession. In 1952, movie director Howard Hawks noticed her photo and ensemble her as the Blackfoot princess Teal Eyes in his acclaimed frontier film THE BEST Sky (1952). Although she was a significant part of the effective film, Threatt still left the picture business rather than acted again.
