A respected pioneer of Italian film music, Enzo Masetti was created in Bologna in 1893. Although many references provide his birthday as 18 August, his delivery certificate expresses 19 August 1893, and he was the kid of Giulio Masetti and Emma Roversi. Enzo graduated from Bologna Conservatory in 1920. After focusing on several symphonic and operatic functions, he inserted the Italian film sector in 1936 and became the very first winner from the Nastri d’Argento for Greatest Rating in 1946.
