Fern Britton began her Television profession in the THE WEST of Britain reading local information bulletins for both BBC and Westward Television’s nightly display “Westward Journal”. Through the middle 1980s, she browse the nationwide news in the BBC’s Breakfast time Time and sometimes presented in the couch with Frank Bough. This is accompanied by a proceed to Televisions to co-present the South model of Coastline to Coastline with Fred Dinenage. Whilst at Televisions Fern co-presented the networked “Airport terminal 90” programs with Nick Owen, and she teamed up with Fred Dineage once again to present the final ever TV program in the Televisions region, “Goodbye to all or any That”, on 31st Dec 1992. From Televisions, she switched to be entertainment corespondent for London Tonight instead, in the LWT and Carlton locations. This post was short-lived, for Fern quickly transferred to GMTV, and to BBC2 as web host of the favorite Ready Steady Make created by Bazal Productions. Since Sept 1999, she’s been presenting TODAY. While Richard and Judy had been still in home, she was the Fri guest web host with John Leslie, however the pair became primary presenters in 2001 pursuing R+J’s departure to Route Four. In 2002 her co-presenter became Phillip Schofield.
