Cusick went to Northeastern University or college where he performed hockey, soccer and football. In 1942 after graduation he became a member of america Navy serving throughout World Battle II. Later on he remained within the Naval Reserves, retiring using the rank of captain. Cusick started his profession in radio on the Cape Cod radio train station and one in Brockton, Massachusetts. In 1952 he started broadcasting Boston Bruin video games on radio, ultimately migrating to tv where he was a continuous for a lot more than four years.
