Geoffrey McDonell was created in London in 1874 and worked within the London STOCK MARKET before volunteering for the Boer Battle. He co-wrote a reserve entitled The Record from the Mounted Infantry of the town Imperial Volunteers (London, 1902, ISBN 1430460865) about his unit’s encounters in South Africa. He emigrated to Canada where he became a “pioneer and hair trapper” based on his World Battle One enlistment documents – he volunteered in the beginning of the battle and offered with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in European countries, being embellished for bravery on 11/03/1916 for “conspicuous gallantry”. Afterwards in the battle he used in a Canadian device that fought using the Light Russians contrary to the Crimson Military in Siberia, and retired being a Lieutenant Colonel. His obituary within the Los Angeles Situations state governments “Col. McDonell, who was simply 64,years, is a motion picture professional since coming within 1923”. He’s buried within the British Veterans’ story in Inglewood Recreation area Cemetery.
