Gigi Darlene was created Heli Leonore Weinreich on March 4, 1943 in Berlin, Germany. Of combined French and German descent, Gigi experienced a repressive romantic relationship with her rigid mom and uncaring stepfather. Gigi joined and won local beauty pageants as an adolescent developing up in Germany.
