Gillian co-founded Sigma Movies in 1996 with director David Mackenzie. Collectively they made many award winning pants before getting into their features; Last Great Wilderness, Hallam Foe, You Rather aka Tonight You’re Mine, SENSE and Starred Up. During this time period Gillian also worked well as Casting Movie director with Ken Loach on I am Joe and Lynne Ramsay on Ratcatcher. She continued to co-produce Wilbur (really wants to get rid of himself), Dogville, Manderlay, Brothers, Dear Wendy, Crimson Street, Donkeys & FOLLOWING THE Wedding ceremony with Zentropa. She also co-produced Beneath the Pores and skin for Jonathan Glazer. Sigma’s movies frequently premiere at A List celebrations and also have received over 150 honours internationally, like the Prix de Jury in Cannes for Crimson Road, as well as the Metallic Carry in Berlin for Hallam Foe aswell as much BIFA and BAFTA nominations and honours.
