Dancer Hal Skelly was created in Wisconsin in 1892, he still left home in 15 to become listed on a circus, went with 17 to humor, toured with light opera China and Japan, joined from then on Dockstader’s minstrels, produced his Broadway debut in 1918 in “Fiddlers 3”. His biggest achievement was the play “Burlesque”, that which was filmed as “Dance of Lifestyle”. He passed away in 1934, when the automobile of his friend where he was vacationing was hit with a train on the crossing.
