Hanoi Stones was founded in Helsinki, but pretty quickly the energetic rock-band started to search for the popularity 1st in Stockholm, Sweden and London, England. Because the 1981 debut recording “Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Stones” the music group fairly quickly became well-known in European countries and Asia. In the past due 1984 the group was going to break in america too. However in Los Angeles, Dec 9th 1984 Hanoi Rock and roll drummer Razzle passed away in a vehicle accident, when Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil dropped the control of his fresh sports vehicle. This event lead into several lineup adjustments and in middle-1985 Hanoi Stones broke up. In summer season 2001 the lead figures of Hanoi Stones, vocalist/saxophonist Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy re-joined their forces to get a Finnish concert tour less than name “Michael Monroe & Andy McCoy – Hanoi Revisited”. Another year came the state announcement that Hanoi Stones had enjoyed a resurgence.
