Nazi swine “par excellance” Hans Schumm was created in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1896. He was a skilled stage professional in his indigenous Germany when he emigrated to the united states in 1927. He performed little parts in American films–even turning up in a few musicals!–but he hit his stride in the past due 1930s when America became alert to the NazI menace in Europe.
