Heather Rose was created in Newfoundland, Canada and raised in Woodstock, NY. She resides in NEW YORK. She is at a romantic relationship with NEW YORK Marathon founder, Fred Lebow, from 1991-1994 and traveled the world running Marathons and length races in France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Siberia, South Africa, Yugoslavia and over the United States. Heather wrote, produced and directed the punk rock and roll documentary, ‘The Shield Throughout the K: THE STORYPLOT of K Information (2000)’, receiving both country wide and international distribution with invitational screenings in more than twenty-five film celebrations including the NY Underground Film Celebration, the Woodstock Film Celebration as well as the Berlin Beta Film Celebration. The Shield Throughout the K garnered advantageous testimonials from over fifty nationwide and international magazines including Spin, Jane, Record Collector, Choice Press, Magnet and PERIODS NY. The film was referenced in “Our Music group Could Be YOUR DAILY LIFE: Scenes in the American Indie Underground 1981-1991” compiled by Michael Azerrad and released by Little, Dark brown and Firm in 2001. She lately photographed and produced the short film, Beacons of Light: NY Illuminated (2009). The film, followed by Johnny Cash’s iconic appreciate melody, “I Walk the Series”, features over 80 lighted locations inside the five boroughs of NEW YORK.
