Heinz Weixelbraun was created in Spittal an der Drau, Carinthia, Austria, where he lived before age group of 18. He began acting professional education and handed the graduation examinationin in 1984 at Volkstheater in Vienna. From 1986 to 1991 he performed in the Volksbühne Berlin beneath the path of Hans Neuenfels or Klaus Emmerich. During this time period he performed at some movies and Television dramas as Die Skorpionfrau (1989), Erwin und Julia (1990), and _Tatort – Wunschlos tot (1987) (Television)_. From 1992 he worked at Schauspielhaus Vienna, Rabenhoftheater and Ensembletheatre in Vienna. From 1996 to 2000 he performed in the German / Austrian Television series _”Komissar Rex” (1994)_ , which became well-known even beyond European countries. Since 1999, when he performed Josef Goebbels in the play “Pogrom”, he offers dedicated himself once again to the theater.
